X-Men: Days Of Future Past follows in the footsteps of X-Men: First Class as a prequel series to the original X-Men trilogy. Bryan Singer, the X-Men film franchise stalwart, will produce the film and he will also direct, after Matthew Vaughn dropped out.
Set to reprise their roles, the cast so far includes, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, James McAvoy as Professor X and Jason Flemyng as Azazel.
Although plot details are scarce, it's been reported that the film will be much more action packed. According to Mark Millar (Marvel's creative consultant), "You've got robots, you've got time travel, you've got superheroes - it's got everything in one film."
