Wonder Woman:Gal Gadot has begun the rigorous training

COMMENT | After coming under fire for being 'too small' for the role of Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot has begun the rigorous training for 'Batman vs. Superman'.
Ever since she was chosen to become DC's Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot has been criticised for her small frame… and simply not looking the part. But with shooting due to begin soon, it looks as though the 'Fast and Furious' star has started to bulk up for the role. And with Mark Twight on the case, perhaps she stands a fighting chance after all. But will she really look the part?

According to the folks at Batman News, the 28-year-old actress has already started the process of bulking up for the role of Wonder Woman… and she's recently been spotted post-workout in her home country of Israel.
After the paparazzi snapped some photos of Gal Gadot after an intense workout earlier this week, it looks as though she's already begun the arduous task of becoming Wonder Woman. And it seems that famous trainer Mark Twight is on hand to help out.

It certainly looks as though Twight has headed to Israel to work with Gadot… and having previously worked with Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon and Antje Traue during production of 'Man of Steel', I'd say they've got the right man for the job.
But will Gal Gadot look the part once Mark Twight has finished with her?

In a recent interview, she addressed the fans concerns about her size by explaining that she's started an intense physical regime… and she's even started learning various forms of martial arts.
"It's the physical preparations that I'm starting now," she said. "A very serious training regimen - Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, jujutsu, Brazilian… 1,001 things… I'll gain body mass."
As for how she'll end up looking in her all-new Wonder Woman costume, well… we'll have to wait and see. But while I was initially rather sceptical, I have to admit - I'm coming round to the idea of an Israeli Wonder Woman.
What do you think of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman? Will she bulk up enough to look truly Amazonian? Let us know what you think in the comments below…
