COMMENT | After his famous cameo appearances in numerous Marvel movies, it looks as though comic book creator Stan Lee is getting a part in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D'.
It's no secret that Stan Lee has appeared in a lot of Marvel movies. In fact, it's become a bit of a tradition amongst moviegoers to spot the Stan Lee cameo. But after many appearances in a numerous comic book movies, it looks as though he's about to take to the small screen… in a 'big role' on Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D'.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 91-year-old comic book creator is set to make an appearance on Marvel's flagship TV show… and apparently it's going to be a 'big role'.
"While details on just whom he will play are unclear, Lee -- who also serves as an executive producer on the freshman series -- tells The Hollywood Reporter that it's a 'big role'."
Confirming their report, a press release at the official Marvel website explained that we might not have to wait very long to see this impressive appearance… as the episode is due to air on February 4 in the USA.

"The legendary Stan Lee has already made his mark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a cameo in every movie from 'Iron Man' to last year's 'Thor: The Dark World,' and this February he'll expand his repertoire with his first-ever cameo in a Marvel live-action TV series, 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'!"
But is it really such a big role after all?
Given the press release by Marvel, I can't help thinking it's another bit-part designed to play to the fans… and perhaps Stan himself was overegging his involvement. But whether he gets a big role or not, it's certainly likely to please the fans. And honestly, I can't wait to see it.
